Terms of Service
Effective: 1 June 2026. By using The Padel Atlas you agree to these terms.
1. What The Padel Atlas Is
The Padel Atlas (“Atlas”, “we”, “us”) is a marketplace platform that connects padel travellers with coaches, clubs, local guides, and camps worldwide. Atlas is not the organiser of any session, event, camp, or experience listed on the platform. All events are created and hosted by independent third parties (“Hosts”).
2. Platform Fees
- Booking fee: €1.50 per booking, charged to the traveller at checkout.
- Platform commission: 5% of the booking price, deducted from host payouts for coaching sessions and club events.
- Camp commission: 15% of the camp price, deducted from host payouts.
- Coach service fee: 9% for coach-initiated bookings through the platform.
- Club subscription: €149/month for the Atlas Club Partner plan (includes unlimited event listings and premium placement).
All fees are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required by law. Prices displayed on listing pages are the total amount charged to the traveller.
3. Cancellation Policy
Host cancellation: If a Host cancels an event, all confirmed attendees who paid will receive a full refund within 5–10 business days, depending on their bank. Atlas processes refunds automatically via Stripe.
Traveller cancellation: Traveller cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, unless the Host cancels the event.
Dispute escalation: If you believe a refund is owed outside these terms, contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of the event. Atlas will review and may issue refunds at its discretion.
4. Payout Schedule
Host earnings become available to request 48 hours after an event concludes, provided no dispute has been raised. Manual transfer to the host's registered bank account is processed within 5 working days of a payout request. Atlas is not responsible for delays caused by third-party banks or payment processors.
5. Liability
Atlas is a marketplace and technology platform, not the event organiser. Hosts are solely responsible for the safety, insurance, quality, and legality of their events. Atlas does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing. Attendance at any event is at the traveller's own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas's liability to any user is limited to the amount paid by that user in the 12 months preceding the claim.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
Hosts retain ownership of the content they submit (bios, photos, event descriptions). By submitting content to Atlas, Hosts grant Atlas a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the platform, including marketing and promotional use.
Users may not scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit any content from The Padel Atlas without written permission.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not create fake or misleading listings.
- Do not use Atlas to coordinate activity that violates any applicable law.
- Do not circumvent platform payments — all bookings must be transacted through Atlas.
- Do not harass or discriminate against other users.
Atlas reserves the right to suspend or remove any account or listing that violates these terms, without notice.
8. Privacy
By using Atlas you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, and PostHog for anonymised product analytics. We never sell your personal data.
9. Changes to These Terms
Atlas may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
